Adding Facade Designs to Buildings

BuildR allows you to define how a building facade will generate. To do this, you can assign a facade design to each building facade. Read more about buildings and facades.

In volume settings, for both external shapes and internal holes of a building, you will be able to edit the facade designs that are applied to each facia.

Each facade has an index that identifies it and you can select a facade design to be applied individually.

You also have the option to apply a facade design to all the volume facades at the bottom with the “Set All Facades” selection.

When you are editing the external shape of a building, BuildR will display the facade indices and volume points so that you know which facade you are looking at.

If you are in the Facades editing mode, you can even drag and drop Facade Designs from the project window directly onto the building facade.
